2 Corinthians 4:8-9 "We are hard pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed."

The Lord is our cover...our protector even under the most overwhelming circumstances. When things are going well, it’s disheartening to suddenly find ourselves in the grip of a mighty tempest. While we may not see every storm as it approaches, there is someone who does… Christ is our Rock, our fortress, our deliver from the elements of disaster… Sometimes he calms the raging winds of adversity, but often God lets the storm continue its’ course while He covers us with the security of His mighty hand… a hand that brings us the ultimate peace the perfect promise, and the never ending love of our Savior Jesus Christ.

Five Healthy Habits I Use For Successful Weight Loss And Maintenance

1. Keep my body hydrated with at least 8 to 10 8 oz glasses of water daily.
2. Eat a minimum of 5 fresh fruits and vegetables per day.
3. Keep my body moving and do a minimum of 30 minutes of physical activity daily at least 5 days per week.
4. Lower the intake of unhealthy fats, eat more whole grains and limit the amount of processed foods you consume regularly
5. Check the scale periodically and chart my calorie intake and exercise calories burned to maintain a healthy balance and perspective of realistic diet and exercise goals.
